South Bay Real Estate Holds Steady Heading into the Fourth of July
As we celebrate Independence Day, the South Bay housing market continues to show resilience despite higher mortgage rates and ongoing affordability challenges.
This week's numbers highlight just how local real estate can be. El Segundo remains one of the most competitive markets in the South Bay, while Greater Palos Verdes offers buyers a bit more breathing room. Meanwhile, Torrance continues to experience strong buyer activity, with 110 homes currently under contract.
One of the encouraging signs this summer is that buyers are still moving when well-priced homes hit the market. Sellers who price appropriately continue to attract attention, while buyers are benefiting from slightly more choices than they had a year ago.
Every city—and often every neighborhood—has its own story. That's why I believe local market knowledge is one of the most valuable tools for both buyers and sellers.
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend!
